OK, I managed to get it to work by modifying SkyDriveConnection.cs and running c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5\MSBuild.exe in the source dir. But the thing is, you don't need it anymore. Just look up your CID in the browser address bar and use \\d.docs.live.net@SSL\<CID>

" dumpurls.exe <UserName> <Password> " doesn't work

Does not work - the URL starts with "https://d.docs.live.net/..." which looks too short and does not work

Really cool and simple. Would there be a chance that something could be made for connecting a Symbian WebDAV client (native app on Nokia s60v3). I realise it's a long shot also given the discontinuation of Symbian and the authentication issue, but hey...gotta ask!

I have recompiled the DLL with the https change. If you are interested, you can get it at my skydrive at https://skydrive.live.com/embed?cid=81985DA692C13F6D&resid=81985DA692C13F6D%212135&authkey=AHNFsUdoaUpYMjg

Can someone compile it with patch and publish it ? Or send it to me directly...

Absolutely true - you need to edit line 33 of SkyDriveConnection.cs to change to https, and recompile. Thanks for posting that.

works fine although requires self build

Would you be able to post this new dll? I don't have the source code.

To t98907 and dev: The URL http://docs.live.net/SkyDocsService.svc is now HTTPS. Open the latest source code and edit line 33 of the SkyDriveConnection.cs file, then recompile and the dll will work as designed.

doesn't work.

Simplicity itself. However, a barebones GUI, with a single-click install, would help.

Well written and polished.

I noticed that if you map to the URL supplied and then view the details with "net use Z:", the remote name is listed as \\xxxxxx.docs.live.net@SSL\DavWWWRoot\xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx\Folder Being a curious person, I tried mapping to \\xxxxxx.docs.live.net@SSL\DavWWWRoot\xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. It connected to my SkyDrive root. I can view, add, rename, and delete files and folders in my SkyDrive root now.

Found this after installing Office 10 and learned about Skydrive connectivity. The ironic thing is that I spent the weekend searching for alternatives to Gladinet and Skydrive Explorer for uploading to Skydrive - both those programs are not ready for prime time at all - with this simple app, I'm able to map the Skydrive and then use it to manage my Skydrive folders - brilliant!
